A medical education module proudly sponsored by Ferring, and CPD-approved by RANZCOG.
Dear Doctor,
No woman should die while giving birth.
Every year, over 300,000 women die from complications during childbirth. Causing approximately 70,000 deaths per year, postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) is the leading cause of maternal death worldwide.
At Ferring, we’re committed to reducing maternal mortality and protecting women and families around the world. We believe that every woman should have access to quality care and necessary treatment during pregnancy and childbirth, no matter where they live.
Ferring is committed to building families, which is why we invest in research and development to ensure a successful birth, with a focus on safe and effective induction of labour and prevention of PPH.
Our commitment to our patients extends beyond our therapies. We provide valuable educational resources and support programs for clinicians and patients to enhance obstetric care and outcomes.
Ferring strongly believes in supporting the development of obstetrics research capacity in Australia. This is through supporting RANZCOG in funding traveling grants to support early-career clinicians to attend peak conferences, small research project grants and a national research methods workshop. We have also supported several institutional research projects through grant funding and investigator-initiated studies with the objective of improving patient care.
We take this opportunity to introduce our Certification Learning Programme.
This online learning programme features learning modules on prevention of postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) and induction of labour.
We hope this learning will be of interest to you and add value to your practice. We look forward to your participation.
